Penalty for Romano and other 6 pilots. Tomorrow, he will start off from the Pitlane.
The news arrived yesterday evening, concern the penalty for Romano and for other 6 pilots, among them we find P. Acosta, D. Foggia, S. Garcia, D. Nepa, D.Öncü and R. Rossi.
The pilots have been accused of an irresponsible drive during the free practice 2 and in particular they have been accused of having driven slow and of causing an inconvenience between corner 15 and 16.
The 7 pilots mentioned will have to start from the pitlane, only when the last pilot on the grid will pass the line at the exit of the pitlane. This will happen regardless of the results that they will obtainin the qualifying.

Coming back to the report of the FP3, there was a strong wind that reached in some cases 35 km/h in opposite direction of the starting straight line and a temperature that on the ground reached 42°C. Due to these conditions none of the pilots on the grid improved his times.

Romano did 7 laps and he sealed as best time 2’08.721, with a gap from the leader of the FP3 J.Dupasquier of 1.477 s.
2’09.018 is the best time of Adriàn, obtained after he did twelve laps and with a gap of 1.774 s.
We remind that thanks to the tenth position in the combined ranking Romano will take part in the Q2, while Adriàn will have to do the Q1. The appointment is at 5.30 Pm local time (GMT+3) and according to the Italian time zone at 4.30 Pm (GMT+2).
