28 February 2020 – Losail International Circuit – Qatar.

Exactly one week the start of the Championship, the first of three days of tests took place today at the Losail circuit in Qatar. Unfortunately Romano did not take part in this first day, due to some flu symptoms. Nothing serious, he will be regularly on track tomorrow.

Alonso made 39 passes in the three practice sessions, making his best performance on the twelfth lap of the last session, in 2’07.985. Our rider occupies the twenty-fourth position, with a delay of 2,392 seconds from the leader G. Rodrigo. Alonso’s team is working hard to improve the setting of the FR250 GP, in order to adapt it to the rider’s needs.

The tests will continue tomorrow and the day after tomorrow with the whole team.
The first session is scheduled to start at 9.15 am (local time), remembering that there are two hours of time zone.
