Very fast Romano in Jerez. Good start for Adriàn

Test Jerez 9-10 Marzo

10 March 2020 – Jerez de la Frontera – Spain

The two days of test on the Jerez Track ended today, they represented the first seasonal outing for the Sterilgarda Max Racing.
Our two pilots did a rather different work, indeed Adriàn had the aim to get confident with the bike and the Team; while Romano starts already from a solid base, being at his second year with our Team.
The two days of test took place with very good weather conditions, since the registered temperature has been around 20° in the air and with total absence of wind.

90 are the laps done by Romano throughout the two days. Since yesterday he showed off a good pace, realizing a time that today he managed to improve by almost half a second, sealing the time of 1’45.792. In the combined ranking he results to be in second position at only 0.066 s from the leader D.Foggia. Yesterday Romano tried an innovative braking system, that guarantees him a better performance and also other new solutions brought by Husqvarna. The work has been mainly focused on the seek of an optimal setting, with modifications to the suspension and to the electronic, in order to try to improve the pace with used tires.

Adrián in the two days of test did 139 laps, sealing a good 1’47.675. Yesterday, after an initial phase in which they focused on the ergonomics of the bike, they also focused on the communication between Adriàn and his Team. Throughout the two days our young pilot increased little by little his rhythm, seeking a base setup that satisfied him. He reported a scarce grip to the back wheel that, in the next test in Qatar will be the subject taken into consideration.

The appointments are for March 19-20-21st in Qatar, for the last test before the start of the Championship.
Let us now leave the floor to our two bearers and our Team Owner Max Biaggi.

Romano Fenati: “I am very happy with this first test of 2021. Since yesterday we have been very fast, doing some little modifications to the bike. We go to Qatar with a good confidence and the desire to perform well!”

Adriàn Fernàndez: “It has been the first contact with the bike and the team. We tried different things and we are doing small steps to understand the bike. We still have 3 days of test in Qatar, where we will keep doing our work of adaptation, in order to do our best. I would like to thank all the people who support and trust me.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “These days of test have been useful to all of us to start off the season. Romano has been fast since the beginning, showing off a good pace. Adriàn got on our bike for the first time and his approach made me a good impression. Now, we need to continue to work intensively, in order to adequately use the next test in Qatar, thus we would be ready for the forthcoming start of the Championship.”
