AYUMU SASAKI : “It was a good first day in which I learned a lot. In truth today did not go as we had hoped, but we know where we can improve tomorrow. We are in P10, but I think we can achieve much more. Tomorrow morning I will try to improve, to then go to Q2 and try to start from a good place.”

DAVID SALVADOR : “I am very happy about this first day. My goal is to get better gradually this weekend. In free practice 1 I got on the bike for the first time and I’m happy to have done a great step between the first and the second session. In the afternoon we will work on the bike, with the intent to make a further step. I am very happy to race on this track, which is incredibly beautiful.”

MAX BIAGGI – TEAM OWNER : “A good start here in Texas, where Ayumu got tenth place. In the morning Ayumu dedicated himself to the setting of the bike, trying to improve his feeling on a complex circuit like the COTA. I’m also satisfied with David who, despite never having seen this circuit, has behaved rather well, managing to get the twentieth position. Tomorrow, we have to improve our performance, in order to be able to confirm ourselves in the leading positions since qualifying.”
