30 September 2021 – Circuit Of The Americas – United States
After the two opening races held on the circuit of Losail, the MotoGP makes a stop out of Europe; therefore next weekend we will be in United States, on the track on the outskirts of Austin in Texas. It is an appreciated come back, since last year we did not compete on this track.
The pilots will have to face the time difference and the difficulties of a very particular track, that presents a relevant different elevation on the starting straight line.
Romano has already competed on this track, achieving two victories and a second place, whereas Adriàn will debut on this circuit.
In the last race held on the Misano World Circuit, Romano started from the pole, but he run into a fall half way through the race. Until that moment our team leader dominated the race, collecting a gap from the chasers of almost 3 seconds! For what concerns Adriàn, the fall in which he run into in the free practice on the Santamonica, caused him an important sprain to his ankle, that strongly limited him throughout the race.
To follow the statements of the protagonists of this weekend.
Romano Fenati: “After the race in Misano we have to focus on the Americas GP. The track I really like, since it is very technical and at the same time is beautiful. I am happy to back in the US.”
Adriàn Fernàndez: “I am very happy to be in the United Sates and to compete on the circuit of Austin. I believe that we could an excellent work this weekend.”
Max Biaggi – Team Owner: “We are back in the United States after a year of stop. This is a very technical circuit and I am sure that Romano can do well. At the moment he is excellent shape, therefore I believe that can achieve a good result, needed for the World Championship ranking. I hope that Adriàn is doing better, so that he can fight for the points.”
