Qatar GP Free Practice 1 just ended. Even with a track still dirty, the timing references are already starting to be interesting. Alonso is third and Romano thirteenth. Our bearers are reaping the first fruits of the great work done during the tests.

Alonso made 13 passes with 7 full laps and 3 runs, making his best time in 2’05.795 on the penultimate pass. It is detached from the leader S.Garcia of 0.388 s. Alonso was very fast in the second and third intermediate times. Ideal time of 2’05.794 as proof of the fact that he made an almost perfect lap.

Romano made the same number of laps and runs making his best lap on the twelfth lap in 2’06.309 with a 0.902 s gap from the top. Fenny ideal time is 2’06.263.

As for the weather, the session took place with a temperature of 28° in the air, 44° on the asphalt and 28% humidity.
