Back on track on the Red Bull Ring

myWorld Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2020 - Preview

13 August 2020Red Bull Ring – Spielberg – Austria .

A few days after the Grand Prix held on the Brno track, we find ourselves on the amazing Red Bull Ring in Austria, for the fifth round of the 2020’s Championship. The previous Grand Prix ended with the ninth place sealed by Romano, for whom the photo-finish was required. Instead Alonso unfortunately run into a fall rather violent, due to which he reported a concussion, that required a supervisory Tac at the hospital. Luckily, apart from a temporary amnesia our young pilot did not report any other consequence and this weekend he will regularly take part in the race program.

It needs to be said that both Romano and Alonso in the preceding weekend showed a better feeling with the FR 250GP and this will be a good omen for the future. For what concerns the Red Bull Ring, that will be the stage of the next two Grand Prixes, it is a very modern circuit, characterized by few corners and by rather long straight lines, in which the Moto3 go frequently full gas. For this reason it will be very important to pay attention on the braking phase.

Let us now give space to the words of our two pilots and our Team Owner Max Biaggi.

Romano Fenati: “I hope that I will be able to improve the result obtained in the Brno race. We have been working very hard to reach this goal. I am very proud of my Team, for all the work that they are doing in order to allow me to perform at my best. We always need to do more, but I am confident to be able to do two fantastic races here in Austria. The track is wonderful and especially it is different from the other tracks.”

Alonso Lopez: “I am very excited to be race this weekend already, because I think to know the things on which I need to work on in order to improve. I think that this track is perfect to improve some details of the setting, though I do not like this circuit.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “I am happy that we will race again this Sunday! In the last race we have obtained some encouraging progresses, for what concerns the feeling of the pilots with the bike. Since the free practice, I expect to see some results that are close to the potentialities of the whole Team. I do not deny that my ambition is to see both the pilots more ahead in the ranking and especially I hope that Romano who has more experience could reach the top five.”
