14 August 2020 – Red Bull Ring – Spielberg – Austria.

The so feared at waited rain, did not fortunately accompanied the proceeding of the free practice 1 on the Red Bull Ring. The session took place with a temperature of 17° in the air, 22° on the ground and a humidity level equal to 93%.
At the end of the first session Romano resulted to be in sixteenth place and Alonso in twenty-first placed. Both our pilots accused some problems with the feeling with the circuit, that we remind, due to its characteristics, needs a setting of the bike rather different from the other tracks.

Romano did 15 laps in 3 runs, ending 7 complete laps. He did his best lap in 1’37.679 in the penultimate and he has a gap from the leader T. Arbolino, equal to 1.129 s.

Seventeen are the laps done by Alonso in 3 runs, with a time gap from the leader of the ranking equal to 1.397 s. 1’37.947 is his best lap.

The appointment is for the free practice 2 that will take place at 1.15 pm (GMT+2).
