The Silverstone Circuit resumes to host the Motorcycle World Championship

Monster Energy British Grand Prix – Preview

26 August 2021Silverstone Circuit – Great Britain

After a week of break, the engines turn on again on the Silverstone Circuit. Last year, due to the pandemic, the grand prix of Great Britain was not held and this was a true pity, since the track of the Northamptonshire county is one of the most beautiful and demanding of the calendar. What we are about to live is the twelfth round of this 2021.

Our Romano is in third position in the Championship, with 107 points, thanks to to a second and two third places. Our team leader performed in the last two rounds on the Red Bull Ring as an absolute protagonist, since he reached the podium in the grand prix of Styria and obtained the pole position in the grand prix of Austria. Our rookie Adriàn instead encountered some difficulties, caused by the non-knowledge of the majority of the tracks. It has been underlined, that Adriàn with his team, after an outstanding work done on the Red Bull Ring, managed to find a setting of his FR 250GP, that will allow him to perform better in the next rounds.

We leave the floor to Romano, Adriàn, and Max Biaggi, our Team Owner.

Romano Fenati: “I am happy to be back in England, since Silverstone is a truly wonderful track. It is an historical track. We have to do a good race and will be crucial to do some important results useful for the Championship.”

Adriàn Fernàndez: “I have never ridden on the Circuit of Silverstone. In Austria we worked very good and we understood how to improve the setting of my Husqvarna. Throughout the weekend we have to follow the same path, because I am sure that we can do well.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “We are back in Silverstone after a break of one year. It is a very technical circuit, where I am sure that Romano can do well. We are in third position in the Championship and we have to fight in the leading group in all the remaining races. For Adriàn it will be a little bit more complex, since it is the first time for him to race on on the SIlverstone track . It will be important to start well.”
