Michelin® Grand Prix of Styria 2021 – Preview

05 August 2021Red Bull Ring – Spielberg – Austria

The long summer break ended and we are back on track this weekend on the Red Bull Ring in Austria, for the tenth round of the 2021 Championship. This track will held two races a week apart one from the other, replicating what already happened last year.

In the last race, held on the TT Circuit of Assen, our Romano obtained an excellent third place, after he served a double long lap penalty in race. Our team leader did not lose heart and showing off all his talent recovered the gap from the leaders pretty fast, after he had served the two penalties. The gap from the winner, after the twenty-second laps of race, is of only 0.207 s. Thanks to this excellent performance, Romano in the ranking of the Championship results to be in fourth position, with 80 points gained.

A little bit more complicated the last race of Adriàn. Indeed after he served a double penalty, unfortunately he run up against a crash, in a fast segment of the track, after he lost the control of his Husqvarna.
Luckily our rookie promptly picked up without reporting any physical damages.

Here there are the comments of our two bearers and our Team Owner Max Biaggi.

Romano Fenati: “I am happy to restart after the summer break. I am ready to come back on track and I think that racing in Spielberg is amazing, since I really like the track. We try to do our best.”

Adriàn Fernàndez: “The vacation ended and I am very happy to come back to race. I trained a lot in this long break and I cannot wait to come back to work.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “It is a little bit strange to have such long break, but after what happened in the last year, this break was useful to recharge a little bit of energies, in order to face this second part of the Championships, with the desire to confirm the excellent result obtained by Romano in the last Grand Prix.”
