Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland 2021 – Qualifying

In the last session of free practice, that took place with a clear sky, Romano obtained the time of 1’26.757, thanks to which he managed to qualify himself in tenth position. In this way, he gained direct access to the qualifying 2. Throughout the qualifying Romano did 7 laps, realizing his best lap at the third lap, with the time of 1’27.475. Our team leader with this performance will have the chance to start from the eighth position tomorrow. He has a gap from the poleman F. Salac of 0.562 s.

For what concerns Adriàn unfortunately throughout the FP3 he incurred in a rather extreme crash. Luckily he did not have any damage. Unfortunately the fall prevented him to improve the time of the combined ranking, ending the session in twenty-sixth position, with the time of 1’28.650.
In the qualifying 1, our rookie did seven laps and at his last lap he obtained the time of 1’28.523. Adriàn, with this time, results to be in ninth position in the Q1 and he will start from the twenty-third position tomorrow.

Romano Fenati: “In these qualifying we obtained a good result and I am happy about it. Tomorrow in the warm up we will try to do some other modifications, to be ready for the race trying to improve the setting of my bike.”

Adriàn Fernàndez: “Today was quite difficult, since I incurred in a crash in the FP3. The qualifying was overall good. I think that I made a further step ahead, since I am doing an excellent work with my team, that allowed me to have a better feeling with the bike and the track. I am not looking at the result, but I am focus for the race of tomorrow.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “Romano confirms his good shape and tomorrow, starting from the third row, he could fight for the leading positions. I hope that Adriàn could do a good come back.”
