Romano is in seventh position in the combined ranking. Adriàn manages to reduce the gap at 1.371 s

The first day of free practice on the circuit of Sachsenring ended with the seventh place achieved by Romano and the twenty-second one achieved by Adriàn, both in the combined ranking.

The morning session took place with a clear sky and a temperature on the ground of 31°C. Romano, at the last of the sixteen laps done, obtained the time of 1’27.679, with a gap from the leader of the free practice 1 J. McPhee of 0.940 s. The free practice 2 took place with a even higher temperature, since on the ground it reached 50°C. Romano improved the time of the morning session, obtaining the time of 1’27.497. He did 16 laps and he managed to obtain the best lap at the twelfth one. 0.758 s is the gap of our team leader from the leader of the combined ranking J. McPhee.

Adriàn, that we remind is the first time that he competes on this track, in the FP1 obtained the time of 1’28.986, at the sixteenth of the twenty laps completed. His gap is of 2.247 s. In the FP2 our rookie improved his performance, managing to reduce his gap in the combined ranking at 1.371 s. He did sixteen laps and he manage to obtain his best lap at the penultimate one.

Romano Fenati: “I am happy with the outcome of this first day here on the Sachsenring. The bike is rather good, indeed we made some modifications that improved my feeling. Tomorrow, we have to do a good qualifying, thus we will have the chance to start as ahead as possible on Sunday.”

Adriàn Fernàndez: “In this first day on a new track I managed to have a good feeling. I really like this circuit and I think that with my team we are doing an amazing job. Tomorrow I am sure that it will be better.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “Today I saw that Romano was very vivid, indeed he obtained good times and he was fast in both the two sessions. Adriàn from the first to the second session improved a lot and I hope that he could continue to improve to be ready for the race. We have to continue to work to confirm ourselves in race.”
