The most beautiful roller-coasters of the Championship host the penultimate round of 2021

Grande Prémio Brembo do Algarve 2021 – Preview

04 November 2021Algarve International Circuit – Portugal

For the penultimate round of this 2021 Championship we will stop on the circuit of Portimao. This year the Motorcycle Grand Prix has already competed once on this track.

Indeed in the month of April the Algarve International Circuit hosted the third leg of the championship, that followed the two races ridden on the circuit of Doha. The conformation of the circuit on the outskirts of Portimao is really particular, since it follows the orography of the terrain and the result is unbelievable! Indeed the presence of ups and downs, with huge incline, makes this track very spectacular, both for the fans and the pilots. Moreover the succession of corners of various type, interpretable in different manners, increases the spots to overtake, highlighting the talent of the pilots.

In the previous round, ridden in Misano Adriatico, the results of our two pilots have not been electrifying, but we got to say that the particular weather conditions, that revealed throughout the weekend, created a lot of problems to almost all the pilots on the grid. Romano he performed himself in an excellent come back, thanks to which at the end of the race he managed to gain twelve positions, compared to the starting one. Because of the natural degradation of the tire, our team leader did not manage to reach at the end the leading positions. For what concerns Adrian, his weekend started definitely with the right pace, since throughout the free practice he managed to obtain the direct access to the qualifying 2. The Friday and Saturday’s sessions took place on wet and our rookie showed off an amazing confidence and consistency, without making any mistake. The race took place on dry and Adrian managed to reach the points, finalizing all his progresses of the weekend.

To follow the comments of Romano, Adriàn, and of Max Biaggi, our Team Owner.

Romano Fenati: “We have two more races until the end of the Championship and even if we are out in the fight for the title, we can still reach the third position in the ranking of the Championship. For this reason is important to work hard! We must do a good race and try to reach the podium again. I really like the track of Portimao, and after the race of April I am happy to come back to race on this circuit.”

Adriàn Fernàndez: “Last weekend on the Misano world Circuit was really positive. Indeed, I managed to have a good feeling from the beginning, even on wet. I was able to qualify in eleventh position and this allowed me to reach important points for the championship in race. After one week of stop I am happy to be back on track. I really like the circuit of the Algarve and in the past I did wonderful races, therefore I am looking forward to starting.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “We have only two more races to finish this thrilling championship. Until few races ago we were fighting for the title with Romano, but a series of events distanced us from the first place, but I expect to see Romano fighting for the leading positions. Adrian in the last race reached the points, therefore I hope that he could follow this path.”
