It could not start in a better way this second weekend on the Algarve International Circuit. A fantastic team result, that awards the hard work of the Team of Romano and Adrian, who from the beginning of the year improved notably.

It is only Friday, but the first position of Romano and the fifth of Adrian, at 0.349 s from his team mate, is a result to be proud of. Romano in the morning session, that took place with an amazing sun, present also in the FP2, focused on the valuation of the tires. Indeed due to a lukewarm temperature and not very high , the choice of the tire was crucial. The particular interval of temperature allowed to use both the soft and the hard tires, therefore is was fundamental to collect most of the data available for the race. For Romano the time of 1’48.026, obtained at the last of the sixteen laps completed.

For what concerns Adrian, after the second round on this track, he managed to finalize his progress, obtaining an excellent 1’48.375. This time results already better than the one obtained in March in Portimao. Obviously it is necessary to consider the different weather conditions that characterized the two weekends, but for our rookie this represents his best start among the various weekend until now.

Romano Fenati: “The temperature of today created us a lot of problems, since with this range it is possible to use both the soft and the hard. This morning already we focused on this aspect and I am very satisfied with the outcome of our work. Tomorrow it will be fundamental to continue to work hardly, to do a good qualifying.”

Adriàn Fernàndez: “Today was a great day, because yet from the beginning I had an excellent feeling with the track. In the FP1 I worked with my team, to find a good setting of my Husqvarna and in the afternoon session I managed to improve a lot, managing to reach the top five. We have to do whatever is needed to confirm this result tomorrow, when we will do the qualifying.”

Max Biaggi – Team Owner: “Today we reached the best team result in the free practice of this 2021. Romano worked well yet from this morning, without focusing on the time. In the afternoon he obtained and excellent time. I am very satisfied also to see Adrian in top five, that proves that from the previous leg in Portimao he improved notably. We have to stay focus, since the difficult part arrives now.”
