The last round of free practice of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix ended with the third position achieved by Romano and the twenty-nineth sealed by Alonso. Romano obtained the time of 1’41.661, lower compared to the previous track record. This performance has allowed him to be in third position in the combined ranking concerning the three rounds of free practice.

Romano did 16 laps and he managed to seal his best time in the nineth lap, with a time gap from the leader of the combined ranking C. Vietti of 0.506 s. Romano was able to improve the T1 which represented the sector in which our pilot was slower. Due to this performance Romano managed to directly access to the qualifying 2.

Unfortunately, Alonso in the free practice 2 was not able to improve his time. As a matter of fact 1’42.640 is similar to the time sealed in the previous two rounds. Our pilot did fifteen laps and he sealed his best time in the last lap. In the combined ranking he has a time gap from the leader of 1.417 s. Alonso will have to do the qualifying 1, which will take place at 12.35 pm.
