10 September 2021 – MotorLand Aragón – Spain
After the first two rounds of free practice on the MotorLand Aragòn, Romano and Adriàn results to be in ninth and eleventh position respectively in the combined ranking. We need to say that the times are rather far from the reference times of the track and this was one of the causes of the leveling of the performances. Indeed in less than a second there are 21 pilots !
Analyzing the performances of our two pilots, we have to say that Romano yet from the first moments of the free practice 1 is always been among the faster, realizing a good 1’59.775. Throughout the second session completed thirteen laps, at the end of which he managed to improve his best lap, obtaining 1’59.235. D. Oncu is the leader of the combined ranking of the Friday, from whom Romano has a gap 0.306 s. Our pilot with his team focused mainly on the valuation of the available tires for the race of Sunday.
For what concerns our rookie, we have to say that the knowledge of the track represented a huge injection of trust. Indeed Adriàn in both of the sessions is always been in the Top Ten, realizing in the morning the time of 1’59.950, time that in the FP2 managed to improve. With his 1’59.317 our pilot completed fifteen laps, at the end of which he collected a gap from the leader of 0.388 s. We have to highlight that throughout the first minutes of FP1 Adriàn was hit by S. Azman in corner 14, without any damage.
Here there are the comments of Romano, Adriàn, and our Team Owner Max Biaggi.
Romano Fenati: “I am satisfied about the work done. Throughout the free practice 2 we had a small issue, that we solved really well! Now we are on the right path, therefore we have to continue to work on this path, because I think we can do well.”
Adriàn Fernàndez: “Today was really good since I knew the circuit, because I rode here while competing in the CEV. I had really good feelings in the FP1 and in the FP2 I did some steps forward. I have a good synergy with my team and I think that tomorrow will be better.”
Max Biaggi – Team Owner: “The one accomplished today is a good team result, since both our pilots result to be quite close to the leaders. Tomorrow the times will be lower for sure, therefore it will be important to improve, so that we can remain in the leading positions.”
