The Sunday of the Spanish Grand Prix begins with the news of the penalty that was inflicted on Ayumu, late Saturday afternoon. In fact our Japanese driver will have to start in last position and will also have to pay a Long Lap Penalty.

The penalty comes from free practice 3, which began on Friday at 9 a.m. Rece Direction felt that Ayumu had voluntarily slowed down, hindering a driver who was following him. Ayumu was participating in free practice 3 in search of his best time, when he found himself in front of three drivers who slowed down suddenly. Ayumu actually found his trajectory blocked and, having no space to pass, he had to slow down. For this reason, Ayumu was penalized with a double penalty, as in addition to the Long Lap Penalty he will have to start last.

Returning to the course of the session, in the warm up this morning Ayumu was still among the fastest, as he got the fifth time. 1’47.057 is his best lap, obtained on the fourth of the six laps completed. The gap from the leader of the warmup D. Oncu is 0.456 s. Great time also for David, who gets 1’47.133, thanks to which, he is ranked in ninth position. For him a gap of 0.532 s and 6 laps completed.
