Unfortunately Ayumu was penalized. Tomorrow he will have to start last on the grid and also serve a long lap penalty.

During free practice 3 Ayumu was behind two drivers who slowed down a lot and he had to decelerate as well. Race Direction stated that Ayumu had voluntarily decreased his speed, so he was penalised.

We are so sorry, but we accept the decision of the Race Direction and tomorrow in the race we will do everything we can to recover.
