22 October 2021 – Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli – Italy
The two sessions of free practice took place with very similar weather conditions. Indeed the temperature was constant throughout the morning and in particular the temperature on the ground reached 16°C. What has heavily influenced this Friday was the rain. which was not very strong but it was constant. Due to this both the sessions of the Moto3 took place on a wet track.
Romano in the second session improved considerably the time reached in the morning, obtaining 1’54.211. With this time Romano is in nineteenth position in the combined ranking, with a gap of 1.682 from the leader of this Friday A. Migno. Adrian results to be in twenty-fifth position, with the time of 1’54.694 and a gap of 2.165 s. Our rookie in the FP1 did a lot of laps, that allowed him to get confidence with the wet track of the Simoncelli Circuit.
To follow the comments of Romano, Adrian, and Max Biaggi our Team Owner.
Romano Fenati: “Today in both the sessions we have ridden on a wet track and this made the free practice a little bit harder. We tried to modify the setting of my Husqvarna, but the modifications made did not satisfied me totally. Tomorrow in the FP3 we will try to follow this path to improve.”
Adriàn Fernàndez: “This first day here in Misano was quite difficult. We are working well and I feel confident with my FR 250 GP. I am sure that tomorrow we will improve.”
Max Biaggi – Team Owner: “It was an hard start for both our pilots here in Misano. The rain heavily influenced these first free practices, but we had too many problems. We got to work hard to shorten the gap, if tomorrow will rain again.”
