Second race on the MotorLand Aragòn

Gran Premio Liqui Moly de Teruel 2020 – Preview

22 October 2020MotorLand Aragón – Spain

As it has already happened on the Jerez’s Track, on the Red Bull Ring and on the Misano World Circuit, also on the MotorLand of Aragon the double race will be held it, will take place at only one week from the previous one. As a matter of fact, in this weekend the MotorLand of Aragon will host the Grand Prix of Teruel.

The experience matured in the Grand Prixes just mentioned, allow us to affirm that the weather condition and the possibility to utilize the data of the preceding week represent additional variables, that will considerably influence the results of the 31 pilots on the grid. The Sterilgarda Max Racing Team last weekend obtained excellent results. Indeed, Romano ended the race very close to the podium, at only few thousandths from the winner and especially for the whole race he managed to be in the leading group. Unfortunately, Alonso was not able to actualize a good result, since the penalty obtained has prevented him to remain in the leading group. It needs to be said that the slipstream, on a track with a straight line so long as the MotorLand of Aragon, is really important, so the team spirit that came out in the qualifying was fundamental to obtain an excellent position on the starting grid.

We remind that our pilots has reported an unexpected wear of the tires, thus it will be crucial to improve the setting of the FR 250GP, in order to obtain constant performances throughout the 19 race laps.

Here are the words of the protagonists of the Grand Prix that is about to start.

Romano Fenati: “For the second race here in Aragon we have to work a little bit on the setting. I am satisfied with the outcome of last weekend race, because I was pretty fast throughout the whole weekend and especially in the race in which we stayed for the whole time in the leading group. I wish to do another strong race as I did last week, but we have to improve a little bit more.”

Alonso Lopez: “For this race I hope to continue on the path followed last weekend, because I was very strong in the first part of the weekend, but I was unlucky in the race. So I hope to have some luck, in order to be able to be competitive all weekend.”

Max BiaggiTeam Owner: “After last weekend race, we are back on the MotorLand Aragòn with the hope to improve the results of the preceding race. It is necessary to do the needed modifications to the setup, so that both Romano and Alonso have the right speed to fight with the best pilots.”
