The hour of delay compared to the free practice 1 of last week, has allowed that the session took place with a higher temperature with respect to the one registered last weekend. Indeed the temperatures registered have been equal to 16°C in the air and 17°C on the ground. The time already reached the times of the combined ranking of the three rounds of free practice of the preceding grand prix also held on the MotorLand Aragòn.
Romano did 13 laps in 3 runs, obtaining his best time in 1’58.212 at the last lap. He has a gap of only 0.136 s from the leader of the FP1 J. Masia. The time obtained is decisively lower than the 1’58.582, which represents the best lap of the free practice of the Grand Prix of Aragòn.
Alonso in this session results to be in thirteenth position, with a gap of 0.992 s. 1’59.068 is his best time, obtained at the penultimate of the 14 laps done in 3 runs.
Next appointment is at 1.35 pm (GMT+2) when the free practice 2 will take place.
