28 May 2021 – Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello – Italy
The first day of free practice of the Italian Grand Prix ended with an excellent fourth place obtained by Romano and with the twenty-sixth place of Adriàn in the combined ranking of the free practice.
Romano yet from the morning session showed off an excellent pace, realizing at the end of the free practice 1 the time of 1’58.219, that represents the second time of the session. In the FP2 the temperature have drastically raised, touching 43°C on the ground. Thanks to the better conditions of the track, all the pilots on the grid improved their times and especially Romano obtained an excellent 1’57.170, with a gap from the leader of the combined ranking D. Binder of 0.509 s. He did fourteen laps in three runs.
For what concerns Adriàn, unfortunately his performance has been influenced by a food poisoning, that strongly limited him in the morning session. Indeed he had to follow the procedures of the Mobile Clinic. To the physical difficulties we have to had the fact that for Adriàn is the first time competing on the Mugello circuit, thus with his team they are improving the feeling with the track step by step. Our rookie notably improved in the FP2, when he obtained the time of 1’58.877.
Here there are the statements of the protagonists of this Friday of the Italian Grand Prix.

Max Biaggi – Team Owner: “I am satisfied with the outcome of the first day of free practice, because Romano has been fast yet from the first free practice, confirming his pace also with high temperatures. I am sorry for the physical issue experienced by Adriàn, that strongly limited him. It is the first time that he competes here in Mugello, thus it will be necessary to work hard, in order to have an optimal setup for the race.”
