Alonso is fourth on a wet track

The first session of Free Practice on the Ricardo Tormo took place on a wet track, since it rained up until few minutes before the beginning of the round. Luckily the temperatures have not been too low, indeed in the air have been registered 18°C and on the ground 16°C.
The beginning of the free practice has been postponed at 10 am and at the end of the 40 minutes of FP1 Alonso resulted to be in fourth position and Romano in twenty-ninth one.

Alonso throughout the session was very fast and at the last of eighteen laps done was attacking the first position, when he slipped in the last split without any consequence. Our pilot in the penultimate lap obtained the time of 1’50.345 and he has a gap from the leader J. Masia of 0.505 s.
Romano unfortunately throughout the session did not manage to obtain a good feeling with the track, which was very untrustworthy due to this there have been a lot of falls. He did sixteen laps, sealing his best time at the twelfth lap. With the time of 1’52.786 he has a gap from the leader of 2.946 s.

The next session of free practice will take place at 1.35 pm (GMT+2).
